We are excited to invest $72 million to connect homes in tribal communities to reliable electricity. This is just the latest investment President Donald J. Trump is leading in Indian country to improve the daily lives of people in tribal communities.

Happy Earth Day, folks! Today, I’m reminded of the work we must do to protect our planet for future generations. I’m also reminded of the historic progress we’ve already made — building a cleaner, healthier planet for every American. And we’re just getting started.

Securing the water rights that Tribes have long been owed is key to planning for their abundant future in the face of climate change and water scarcity. Today, I was honored to celebrate a historic water rights agreement with the Colorado River Indian Tribes in Arizona.
