The Performing Arts department were delighted to be visited by a representative from Dons Local Action Group to present to the charity a cheque for £463.67. This money was raised from ticket sales and donations at our annual Christmas Showcase in December.

Our Year 8 History students thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the Imperial War Museums and the Lord Ashcroft room today.

Huge congratulations to all Year 13 students at Ashcroft Academy on their outstanding A Level results! With 45% of the grades awarded an A or A*, in addition to the outstanding IB results achieved in July, their hard work and dedication have truly paid off.

We are delighted that our students’ A-Level results place the Academy’s Sixth Form in the top 10 state schools in London.  This is in addition to 67% of our International Baccalaureate grades being at grades 6 (A) and 7 (A*), giving an overall Sixth Form average of over 50%.

It was a joy to visit Ashcroft Academy. This brilliant academy is one of the top performing schools in the country & boasts remarkable attendance. These achievements are all down to the amazing teachers I met & the freedoms that Labour are sadly set on destroying.

Evidence shows that only 11% of schools are genuinely smartphone free & children at smart phone free schools get 1-2 grades higher at GCSE. I hope Labour do the right thing, & back our amendment to the Children’s Wellbeing & Schools Bill to ban smart phones in schools for U16s.
