Trying to love like Jesus and deeply troubled by the depth and pride of condemnation against Andy Stanley. 2 generations ago, would these same people / churches condemned interracial marriage as immoral and stood behind: Daniel 2:43 Acts 17:26 Deut 7:3 Ezra 9:1-2 2 Cor: 6:14 ??

After spending 3 years with Jesus, Peter did not fully understand the “WAY” of Jesus. The Holy Spirit continues to reveal the truth every day. Why do we think that the complete word of God can be captured in the Bible? The Bible gives us fragments but not the complete WORD!

“I was a stranger, and you…” Demanded I be deported. Spread hate and lies about me. Didn’t care how your lies caused bomb threats at my school. Held onto your hatred for what you believe I am rather than actually know me. “Whatever you do unto these, you do unto me.” -Jesus

In Matthew 14, Jesus is grieving the death of his cousin & mentor. Even as this happens, Jesus & his disciples are overwhelmed by a crowd with A LOT of needs. The disciples say it’s time to send them away to find food. Jesus says “No. You feed them.” Those are my politics.

Mary Magdalene was the first apostle of Jesus. Raised in male-pastor-only culture, I was taught the basic meaning of "apostle" was "sent one." How did I mis John 20:17?—where Mary is literally Jesus' first "sent one" to preach the resurrection, specifically to men.

Scripture was written and recorded during patriarchal eras, in patriarchal regions. Of course it reflects that bias! But throughout scripture, in both the Old and New Testaments, we see God using His daughters to advance His Kingdom, without regard to gender. Of course the 12
