After spending 3 years with Jesus, Peter did not fully understand the “WAY” of Jesus. The Holy Spirit continues to reveal the truth every day. Why do we think that the complete word of God can be captured in the Bible? The Bible gives us fragments but not the complete WORD!

So much of American Christianity has lost its grasp on the gospel of Jesus to the extent that when you say “welcome the immigrant,” “feed the hungry,” and “help the poor,” you get condemned for being “liberal” rather than simply identified as a follower of Jesus.

In Matthew 14, Jesus is grieving the death of his cousin & mentor. Even as this happens, Jesus & his disciples are overwhelmed by a crowd with A LOT of needs. The disciples say it’s time to send them away to find food. Jesus says “No. You feed them.” Those are my politics.
