Took a day trip up to Birmingham a few weeks ago. Certainly a very big city, travelled out to Billesley on a Scania, then across to Solihull before ticking off a lovely B7 to Marston Green Nipped down to the airport, to the city on the X1 & finished with a levante to London.

Great to see this in the flesh for the first time, just as stunning as I thought it would be! Great to bump into Arrivabus7 too.

Last Sunday saw a return to Rail Replacement for Arriva Tunbridge Wells, with the fleet stretching out into Sussex. 2955 was used as a standby at Polegate, with 4190 at Haywards Heath and 4218 at Lewes. We managed runs to Brighton, Seaford, Plumpton and Lewes, first of many jobs!

Caught up with some of the new arrivals in the Kent Thameside area today. Northfleet received 4020 from Colchester today, it’s seen about to go out onto 480s this afternoon. Go Ahead also had some Irizar IE Trams on the A today, quirky vehicles but the air con was lovely!
