Some personal news ... today is my last day with #RTE after too many years to count. Thanks to all the wonderful colleagues and friends I’ve worked with in radio television and news - and to all who trusted me to tell their stories. Still excited to go to work on the last day...

Had a bit of a crush on someone but then looked through their Facebook and noticed they were a massive LadBaby fan. No longer interested.

Jordan Henderson has massively undermined people who genuinely believe in and campaign for the causes he briefly borrowed. Much better to be quiet now. Or admit it’s just his job, his career, which is fine. But to be still preaching about “respect” and educating others is 🤮

I'm 44 and am watching Red Dwarf again as it's back on the BBC. Having watched it through school, university, my 20s and 30s, and now, it's like an old comforting friend. Being in deep space feel quite appealing versus modern life.

It increasingly winds me up no end that my wife goes into the kitchen, turns on the hot tap to wash a single plate, which fires-up the combi boiler, but she's finished washing the plate before the hot water comes through to the tap.

There's a narrative developing that if you haven't protested about civilian deaths in other war zones... But you now do for Gaza That you're anti-Israel - or worse. I can only speak for myself, but this couldn't be more wrong and needlessly divisive...
