Congratulations to the doctors who brought the PA experiment to light, exposing the inappropriate use of PAswhich has increased risk to patients. Also exposing how government subsidies for PAs have resulted in the firing of salaried GPS and a dearth of locum jobs.

A large number of the GPs who have lost their jobs to PAs, as a result of the government's in equitable funding, will be women. Locum and salaried posts fit in well with child care. Something to think about on women's day.
