I've never seen this document on NHS reform from the Institute of Economic Affairs before, but it's chilled me to the bones. This is what they want: for medical care to be completely at the mercy of profiteers, not public health - as evil & deadly a proposition as I can imagine

Soursop leaf tea, soursop juice, custard apple & sweetsop cause atypical Parkinsons and worsen degenerative Parkinson’s Disease. 7 fruits a year for 10 years, or drinking any soursop leaf tea was associated in the study below with a decline in cognition

Annonaceae and Parkinson’s and dementia We know these fruits enter the brain, soursop leaf tea is said in Jamaican bush medicine to be good for the nerves. We had no idea it was this dangerous. If rats are given soursop leaf extract iv it destroys their basal ganglia.

Annonaceae (custard apple, soursop, sweetsop) cause atypical Parkinsons & worsen degenerative Parkinson’s Disease. Annonacin IV in rats destroys the basal ganglia, which atrophy in PD. These fruits, and any soursop leaf tea, worsen cognition and increasing dementia risk in PD

Congratulations to the doctors who brought the PA experiment to light, exposing the inappropriate use of PAswhich has increased risk to patients. Also exposing how government subsidies for PAs have resulted in the firing of salaried GPS and a dearth of locum jobs.

Mary Sloper (@marysloper2) 's Twitter Profile Photo

A large number of the GPs who have lost their jobs to PAs, as a result of the government's in equitable funding, will be women. Locum and salaried posts fit in well with child care. Something to think about on women's day.

Physician Associates , and the BMA and MRCGP responses. While I was truly pleased to see reasonably simple, clear guidelines on the use of PAs from the RCGP and the BMA, I fear these have come too late. The horse has long since bolted and may be very hard to catch.

A reminder - someone with sickle cell disease cannot be diagnosed with diabetes using glycated haemoglobin or HbA1c. 🧵 The ‘A’ in HbA1c denotes HbA and people with sickle cell disease don’t make HbA they only make HbS. Now if you send an HbA1c sample to the lab anyway you

An excellent thread on the deliberate, planned and clandestine replacement of GPs with non-doctors in general practice The consequence: You can’t get an appointment with your GP, because thousands of them have been constructively dismissed. Be angry, vote, and #AskForADoctor

@EmergMedDr No sign of Keir Starmer or Wes Streeting talking about Physician Associates in their GE campaign. Promising “more appointments” doesn’t mean the end to replacing of doctors with non-doctors. Patients must demand it of parties & candidates. Let’s do this #patientsafety

It’s taken a while for this to be admitted by NHS England.. many of us have been raising concerns a long time. Wes Streeting do you now understand the problem? It isn’t that we don’t have enough GPs.. we don’t have enough jobs for our GPs because GPs are being pushed out of

Thanks for your hard work. 19 Mile Road Cooper's Hill St Andrew would like to know your plans: to repair posts on steep Holly's Hill, or to reroute power from Rockhall? New posts would be needed but easier to install on 19 Mile rd than hill burterr#JPSOperationRestoration
