At Namespace we rely on different infrastructure to help us understand system behavior and quickly address problems. In that toolset, Honeycomb.io System Status Updates is a constant source of joy. It's fast when it matters (root causing). And it motivates us to increase tracing coverage.
Okay, I'm just going to throw this out there, but maybe - just maybe - a vendor having the ability to change every one of their kernel drivers in the field at the same time without any approval from IT/end users is a model we need to reconsider... CrowdStrike.
After the steep changes to Delta Skymiles, I reluctantly ditched them after a decade+ of loyalty. I switched to Southwest Airlines and quickly racked up status. But the #1 thing I hate about it is the open seating. Thankfully, they're changing that. Kudos! travelandleisure.com/southwest-airl…
