I cannot understand why it is so hard to say that as a profession we believe in access to healthcare for all and for the protection of the lives of healthcare workers while at work. When did this become a controversial value to hold? IASLT

It's hard to understand why a conference celebrating the role of health and social care professionals won't support a moment's silence in recognition of our global HCWs who are working to support healthcare access in the most horrific of circumstances.

Healthcare facilities, the patients who rely on their services, and the HCWs who tend to these patients are not a target. What is happening to the hospitals in Northern Gaza is unlawful and inhumane. Our governments and international institutions know this and need to act
