One of the bizarre and telling peculiarities of the surging protests in Iran has been that the best coverage of the momentous bravery of the ordinary Iranians fighting Islamic dictatorship has been by a comedian Omid Djalili - and not our famous BBC.
Even if the regime in #Iran does not fall over the next days, questions must be asked in Parliament about the deliberate, apparently ideological refusal of BBC News (World) to cover 12 days of huge, intensifying protests & deadly repression. The public shouldn’t have to rely on Omid Djalili !
