Lord Cruddas of Shoreditch Dignified tweet from a person honoured with serving the public in the HoL! House of Lords - do you think it is acceptable for a Lord to be smearing anyone with politically different views on a public platform. Surely basis for a complaint?

This is poisonous Allison Pearson People with dwarfism are regularly photographed & jeered when they simple go shopping. Ellie Simmonds on #Strictly = visibility and understanding. If it makes your Saturday night uncomfortable that says so much about you.

Truss is going after the "anti-growth" blob - everyone who disagrees with her. That's Labour, businesses, anyone with a mortgage, anyone who rents, students, people earning below 150k, people earning over 150k who quite like public services...Isn't she going to run out of voters?

Amazing line from guy on the BBC talking about the Tories, post-Boris: "The ringmaster has left the circus, and now the lions are eating the clowns."

Rishi Sunak It doesn’t HAVE to be cuts. Business Fraud costs £20bn a year. Go after that. Tech like Amazon / Google owe us £1bn a year. Go for them and backdate it. Name and shame the companies that cost us £9bn in useless PPE, or who defrauded Furlough Scheme by £4bn. (1/2)

In the last five years, there's been ONE conviction for electoral fraud. It's just not a problem worth spending £180m on - when the solution means that a young voter without a passport or driving licence won't be able to vote. Sign here if you think it's a mad waste of time

At a cost, estimated by the Cabinet Office to be up to £180,000,000 per decade, this law to force people to bring photo ID to vote is an expensive distraction from the problems the country faces. Add your name here: ers.tools/voter-id

I hope a formal complaint has been made to IPSO (Independent Press Standards Organisation), as potential breach of Editor’s Code of Practice under clause 12. Clarkson is clearly inciting hatred but women remain vulnerable, as we are not protected from this extreme misogyny in law.

Have to say that I am genuinely gobsmacked that there has been no comment on the troubling violence by far right extremists in Knowsley from the Home Secretary Suella Braverman - almost 24 hours have passed and no comment made and no condemnation of the violence.

Anne Webb @secrettory12 There is no huge influx. We take far fewer refugees than other major European countries. This is just an immeasurably cruel policy directed at the most vulnerable people in language that is not dissimilar to that used by Germany in the 30s, and I’m out of order?

If you’re cross about being compared to Nazis, then calling for your critics to be silenced & sacked probably isn’t the best way to prove them wrong.

"If you come here illegally we will automatically refuse your asylum claim." "Okay, but there are no routes to come here legally. Will you create some?" "No." "So people who have a valid asylum claim should...?" "They should have thought about that before becoming refugees."

Back of my Polling Card for local elections. For 1st time, photo ID is required. Card gives many options for elderly or those with disability. None, NONE, for younger or student voters. The policy is simply biased against younger voters, designed to suppress their vote.

🚨 It's crazy that the NHS has told 350 doctors training in anaesthesia that the NHS has no job for them after 3 years training. At the same time we have massive shortages of, you guessed it, anaesthetists. These self-defeating bottlenecks defy logic. Statement from Royal College of Anaesthetists
