The problem is just as bad with medical benchmarks -- not clinically meaningful and models are just being over-fit to them. Model evaluations need comparison to a human baseline -- or even better, studies on how they affect human behavior. We need that MORE than new models.

When you used some lessons learned from your mentor/teacher from med school/residency/fellowship, please let your mentor/teacher know. That will make them happy. They will continue to work hard on teaching. Positive spiral.
