The felling of the Sycamore Gap tree rocked our region. It was a crime felt by millions that loved that iconic spot. I still can’t walk that section of Hadrian’s Wall💔
I’m proud of Northumbria Police for the thorough investigation that has led to these charges being brought today.

We were lucky enough to meet with Chi Onwurah 💙 and to be given a guided tour of parts of the Houses of Parliament by Catherine McKinnell who taught us about some of the interesting history. The children were keen to ask their local MPs a range of challenging questions.
Together we can create thousands more green jobs in offshore wind and manufacturing on the rivers and ports that define our North East.
