If teachers and school staff only did what they are contracted to do and ONLY worked the hours that they are paid to work— every school would have to shut down because it wouldn’t be able to function.

Montgomery County Public Schools will be closed, and offices will open two late for Tuesday, Jan.16. 11-12 month employees may telework; school and community activities are canceled, including athletic practices and events. Childcare programs in schools may operate 2 hours late

Career Day at Sligo Middle School was absolutely awesome! From mechanics to mental health therapists, canine unit officers, and more, students got a glimpse into some exciting careers. A huge thank you to the professionals who shared their experiences.
