Why does a Calvnist do this? He want to define "elect" and he uses NONE of the language of Calvinism. Almost like he's embarrassed by it. This definition (or example) is a non-Calvinistic explanation. Is the definition Calvin would use too...hard to believe? (I mean it isn't
