guys I’ve watched so much softball today and it’s just been the same game

There is a tent coming down for all of the 11 universities in Gaza that have been bombed and no longer exist.

Now that UW-Madison administrators and protesters at the encampment have come to a deal I want to take a moment to recognize some of the reporting The Daily Cardinal reporters have done during these last 12 days

This tent was surrounded by protesters with linked arms on May 1, one of the two that stood standing during and after the police raid. It has been here since the encampment started on April 29.

With the end of the encampment today, it too will finally come down.

BREAKING: UW-Madison and SJP/YDSA campus organizers have reached an agreement to end the UW-Madison Liberated Zone. This comes on the 12th day of the encampment, with teach ins, a police raid and community events occurring in the past two weeks.
