What everyone must understand about the nurse strikes is that it’s not just about money, it is about drawing attention to: lack of funding, lack of safe and quality care, lack of staff etc. Nurses can sometimes work shifts with 1:24, imagine trying to provide care to 24 patients

This is why the UK has neverending austerity. In 2020-21 govt lost £33bn-£55bn to frauds. It detected only £360m of fraud in 2019-20 (latest data). Pitiful. How did BBC Radio 4 find the idiot NHS consultant on the Today programme this morning who thinks the NHS does not need more staff but hospitals should operate all week. If he wants to alienate staff ion the NHS make them all work weekends
