Lifered Soprano Pipistrelle on an awesome bat walk tonight, @MapleLodgeRsrve , one of my local and frequent sites! It was mesmerising to be among so many of these bizarre mammals at a tranquil dusk. ❤️🦇

16th September: Plover Appreciation Day! Originating in Australia, this day is to raise awareness about disturbing nesting plovers while walking on beaches ⛱️ (Who can name the plover and, if you are really skilled, the site?)

Great day at school today! Ticked sparrowhawk for the school and also saw GSW and a Jay. The highlight, besides the awesome female sprawk, was my first Grey Dagger as seen below!

A dash to see another Warbler. This time an Asian Desert Warbler. A rare visitor from the deserts of central and eastern Asia. Fortunately in Norfolk too.
