We mst look after them but not expect purpose and love. And the dreadful thing is its internalised. 'When I'm really old of course I shld move into n a care home'

Relentless financial squeezing of local authorities and, in some cases, poor financial management, means cuts in services and inflation busting increases in council tax. But don't blame old people for rising demand. Longer life is a blessing not a burden.

Lots of chair-based exercises, music and crafting. Nice people but no sense that the people attending had a rich life history, knowledge, interests, relationships
