And while we’re at it: Common Sense Media should NOT be used as a selection tool for library books. It has its uses for parental guidance, but it can only lead to self-censorship for libraries.

And if you are not HoH, advocate for folks who are. If you are in the audience when a speaker asks this, yell back to them “ALWAYS USE THE MIC!” Do this every time until all speakers stop asking and just start using the mic automatically.

Yall please be vigilant at the polls. The election worker couldn't find me in the system as a registered voter. She then asked for my voter reg card (which i didnt have). I said ma'am I've been voting since I was 18 and I'm a candidate on the ballot... I'm in there. Check again.

Two questions for the school librarians who cap the number of students who can visit during lunch or other times: 1) What’s your reason for doing so? (What are you trying to prevent?) and 2) How do you ensure that access is equitable (since first-come, first serve isn’t)?

U.S. Senate Announcement: I am polling around 3% which places Democracy at risk. In the interest of protecting the United States I am dropping out of the U.S Senate Race in PA. I fully endorse John Fetterman. The Democrats must win. PA must be Blue. It has been an honor running.

Never forget that anti-teacher attacks aren’t about protecting kids, they’re about discrediting public education to serve as a basis to privatize it.

If Twitter ever gets *really* gross we should have like a place IRL that we get together. Somewhere free to hang out, somewhere quietish, but vibrant too. Maybe there could be activities and stuff to learn and do together. Maybe some books. Someone should look into this
