I go to the mountains to stare fear in the face. I want to be an example to my kids, and enhance my courage to lead. #elanorroosevelt #motivationalquotes #leadership #leadershipdevelopment

I’m a ⁦⁦Starbucks⁩ fan & find it interesting that ⁦Howard Schultz⁩ created it to serve quality coffee in the Third Place experience now it wants to serve more sugary drinks via drive thru. “Starbuck Is Rethinking Almost Everything…” apple.news/A6ka6cUgLSEWZc…

On this day that we take a break from laboring, remember the words of Aristotle “This is the main question, with what activity one’s leisure is filled.” Just as we are mindful of working so much and effectively, also be mindful what you do on your days of leisure. #optoutside

The hardest part of doing what I do in my life is explaining to people what I do in my life. Props to Team @wearesubkit for helping me tell my story. gosolo.subkit.com/andrew-buerger/

So said a mom at my son’s Saturday 3:30pm youth football game: “I need to drink wine to relax. I don’t want to pop pills. And I’m not good at yoga.” Kinda hard to argue with that!

If you’re on the verge of skipping a workout, consider what you could change about said workout (duration, exercise selection, etc) that would make it feel doable, then do that. 10 min of your fav exercises is infinitely better than 0 minutes of the workout you skipped.

Anyone running or thinking of running Baltimore Running Festival? Here's a little inspiration: Cheryl Hile is running her 70th marathon. She's run one on every continent within a year. She has MS. Please don't let obstacles get in your way. The obstacle is the way. anchor.fm/itstheclimb/ep…

The Dalai Lama was once asked: what is it your favorite moment in your life? He answered:“I think this moment.” Leaves changing so quickly & rushing towards the peak foliage, I try to appreciate them before they all fall. I remind myself that this moment is the peak moment.
