As I mentioned last night on our mid-term coverage, the US midterms are an important reminder: no matter what opinion polls suggest, no matter whatever even the smartest pundits offer, no matter how much is spent on ads, elections are what matters. Voting matters. Voters matter.

Just got my new tree delivered through City of Ottawa’s amazing Trees in Trust program, where the tree is delivered and planted at no cost to residents, who are simply expected to care the new tree. I’m eager to promote this program to help restore our urban canopy.

The ON govt's attempt to develop part of the Greenbelt & attack municipal democracy is beyond scandalous. It shows contempt for the citizenry and the environment. There are other responsible ways of dealing with housing needs. Municipal democracy doesn't belong to developers.
