Anastasia Pourliakas is examining the role of death anxiety as a vulnerability to psychological distress in 3 populations - oncology, multiple sclerosis & eating disorders. She aims to systematically review the literature, validate death anxiety scales & test a transdiagnostic model.

Research presented by Rebekah Davenport at #ECTRIMS2021 - the largest multiple sclerosis scientific conference in the world. Findings highlight the intervening role of illness schemas and avoidance in the relationships between personality, affective symptoms and illness acceptance 📊
