My favorite part about being a children's author is when I get to visit elementary schools and meet my readers. The questions students ask after my Visiting Author presentation help me appreciate their understanding of disabilities and guide me with content ideas for my next writ

My work revolves around helping general education students understand autism better. If my books or school presentations offer a window into the world of autism & help students "get it" better, then I've done my job. I love this clever description of autism - it helps ME "get it

Thank you, teachers and administrators for choosing my book to help students understand more deeply about autism and other disabilities. Honored that Little Big Sister was read in classrooms across the USA for Autism Acceptance Month.

As the school year ends, I'd like to thank the schools who've hired me as a Visiting Author! It's never too soon to begin planning for next year - my books & presentation help schools embrace #inclusion & gain a deeper understanding of #autism & other #disabilities.
