Politicising sex education is unforgivable dangerous & reactionary. It’s always *age appropriate* to give young people skills to stay safe. For younger ones that means teaching about respect & healthy relationships. This is worst kind of arm-chair politics bigoted & ill-informed

We're so happy to see this editorial from the The Guardian on the global health threat that is #AMR. AMR threatens our socio-economical, ecological and political systems and needs urgent, strong action to catalyse tangible behavioural changes. microb.io/3K6KXRL

Such an important series of articles published by The Lancet from diverse perspectives working in #AntimicrobialResistance (#AMR). Pleased to see the World Health Organization (WHO) Task Force of AMR Survivor's comments, which was led by Nour Shamas thelancet.com/journals/lance… #AMRsurvivors

Devastating news of sociologist redundancies at Goldsmiths, University of London Heart-breaking for those involved. Our solidarity and sympathy is with all affected.

And I will say it again, Sociology is one of the most important academic disciplines. It teaches you to be critical and to question everything. And that is why it is under attack. Solidarity to colleagues Sociology, Goldsmiths

Britain will not rejoin EU in my lifetime, says Starmer - which is pretty damned depressing. There isn’t a single challenge we face which wouldn’t be easier to address if we worked more closely with our neighbours as part of the EU. Let’s prove him wrong theguardian.com/politics/artic…
