Sometimes my Amazon movie recommendation list gets it right. I came across a gem called AMERICAN FOLK Movie. It speaks to the human spirit and the power of music. Beautiful acting, and singing by Joe Purdy & Amber Rubarth. Exquisite writing by David Heinz. Content.

jules One of my favorite movies over the last five years or so is a low-budget film called "American Folk." It's the best 9/11 movie ever in that it well captures that very brief time after the attacks when all Americans were neighbors, and there was no hate. Amazon Prime Video.
