Day 2 of the Capacity Building Forum with IOM Nigeria 🇳🇬 Today’s focus: driving impact through behavior change messaging for youth audiences, co-creating youth-friendly awareness tools, and strengthening referral systems to better support migrants.

From conversations to solutions. We explored behavior change messaging, designed youth awareness tools, and worked on building functional referral systems to support safe & regular migration. This is what youth leadership looks like—practical, intentional, & community-driven.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending the Open-Door Youth Forum—a townhall engagement with the Assistant Secretary-General for UN Youth Office Felipe Paullier in Abuja—in my capacity as a Youth Advisory Board Member on Migration with IOM Nigeria and as an Advocate.

As someone deeply committed to youth, peace, and development, spaces like this reinforce why we must keep pushing—ensuring that young people are not only heard, but actively shaping decisions that affect their lives. We need less scripts & more dialogue. UN Youth Office United Nations
