Last day of class for Math 10 before our mid-course assessment. Did a fun "math market" review activity with students working in small groups. I used stamps as "currency" instead of Monopoly money to streamline the facilitation. #ITeachMath #HRCEmath Alicia Potvin

Used this #WODB discussion prompt to introduce General Form of a linear function today. Which one doesn’t belong with the other three? Students found the bottom right the most difficult to find a reason for. #ITeachMath

Started class today with some puzzles to introduce systems of equations. Then we used a Desmos Classroom activity for some additional practice and to start the transition to algebraic notation. #ITeachMath teacher.desmos.com/activitybuilde…
