Started digging into Algo Dev page more. Seem to have added ~200k new #Algorand wallets so far in 2023. At first I wanted to dismiss this as due to security precautions taken the past few weeks, but the slope of this graph indicates pretty consistent climb, not a sudden spike.

Below is a step-by-step process to rekey an Algorand account on pera.algo and Defly Wallet to a Ledger or another “hot wallet”, including a “reverse rekey” using Defly Wallet. Special thanks to D13 patrick.algo chris.voi and I’m sure many others who helped this week.

Do not respond to ANY Pera or MyAlgo accounts that post comments saying they can help, and NEVER DM them either. Also anyone claiming they have a contact on instagram etc who can help you with your losses is also a SCAM. Always check the comments and report shady accounts.
