My column in today’s Times Local News on why we need more young people involved in our local politics, and how we can make that happen.

Excellent morning out with our good friend Penny Mordaunt and the brilliant team at Portsmouth Conservatives. Special shout-out to Ɽ Ø ฿ Ɇ Ɽ ₮ for having the LGBT+ Conservatives down for this beautiful sunny Pompey day. 📸: Alex Puffette

A pleasure to be invited to speak at a Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) event in Westminster today in my role as YC Coordinator for Kent. Great to talk about my experience as a young person involved in politics, and to hear the experiences of others.

Some of the team out in York and London today. Great to be out with Julian Sturdy for York Outer, Nickie Aiken, Keane Duncan & Next Gen Tories 📸: Joe, Alex Puffette, @ReeceFox1992, Luke Robert Black 🌳🧢, Harry Rushworth, Sean Hanrahan , Kamran Ali , @jamescowling, Jonathan Glanz.

Last night our very own YC Alex Puffette did a great job👏of Chairing our YC Talk with The Rt Hon Andrew Mitchell, who spoke on the topic of international development. Thank you to all the YC's that attended and submitted questions for Andrew to answer!

Such a pleasure to spend the day shadowing the brilliant Penny Mordaunt and her team in Portsmouth. Their dedication to deliver for the people of Portsmouth North could not be clearer.

Excited to have written the chapter on Napoleon Bonaparte in Iain Dale 🏴🇬🇧⚒️’s ‘The Dictators’ which is out today. To write about such an infamous figure, and to be alongside so many incredible contributors, is a great honour. A huge thank you to Iain for the opportunity!

Had such a lovely evening last night speaking as part of a panel hosted by Iain Dale 🏴🇬🇧⚒️ on ‘The Dictators’. Thank you to St Peter's School, York and Ben Fuller for your excellent hospitality, along with to the audience for coming along and asking some brilliant questions.
