With the chatter about its fortieth anniversary I finally got around to watching the 1984 nuclear apocalypse movie Threads last night. Wow. Bleak and upsetting doesn’t quite cover it. Pretty amazing though. Kind-of incredible that it ever got aired on mainstream television.
