What a turnout! 🙌 Thank you so much to everyone who showed up to tell the Government that it is time to #PayStudentNursesAndMidwives. Our student nurses and midwives are the future of our health service. We need to do everything we can to ensure they want to stay in Ireland.

“Why are student nurses priceless but penniless?” Crowds joined our demo outside the Dáil to show their support for student nurses and midwives and call on the Government for fairness on the frontline. Respect and recognition are key to keeping students in our health service!

Minister Stephen Donnelly has announced additional supports worth €12 million for student nurses and midwives while attending their clinical placements.
