🎉 WOW 🎉 We are utterly thrilled to discover that Jon Fosse has won the The Nobel Prize in Literature! 🎉
I don't usually talk about personal things here, but I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Frank Wynne frank wynne 🏳️🌈 for his kindness over the years. I had to stop translating this wonderful book because many awful things had happened in my life: my parents died, THREAD 🧵
Thanks to New Directions for the ARC of Krasznahorkai's forthcoming Herscht 07769, translated by ottilie mulzet @ottiliemulzet.bsky.social! My most anticipated release of the year in one already full of exciting work, both translated and not. What a time to study long sentences!
