Ogletree Deakins -- the same anti-union law firm that sought to bust union efforts at IKEA, New Seasons Market, the Animal Legal Defense Fund, ACLU Kansas, and Trump's Atlantic City casino -- is now working with Home Depot to crush an organizing drive at a store in Philly.

ACLU-D.C. prioritizes justice, equity, and inclusion in its work and, as the workers of this organization, we believe it should maintain those priorities in its self-governance. So today, we told management that ACLU-D.C. workers have formed a union with Washington-Baltimore News Guild.

Yay!! Congrats to these affiliates and unionizing staff. We’ll stand along side you. 🫶🏽

NEW: Employees in KY, LA, and MS are asking NLRB to hold an election to move the unionizing process forward. Despite a supermajority of staff supporting the effort, management has refused to recognize the union and declined a good faith offer to meet and move forward together.

Mgmt at ACLU of Illinois has been found GUILTY of the unfair labor practice charge we filed regarding their refusal to give us annual pay raises since unionization in 2021. Even so, management has rejected NLRB’s proposed settlement, saying they did nothing wrong. Shameful!
