as i was rolling my bike out of the Metro Los Angeles bundy station: teen #1: "you're a bitch if you ride that bike!" me: haha! (just in case it was a compliment) teen #2: she thought it was funny! hmmm... i guess he wasn't trying to be funny? 🫤🫤🫤

used to be that i'd always look at cyclists i'd see on the streets of #LA to see if i knew them 😉 but now that i'm on transit more, i check out everyone who rolls their bike onto a Metro Los Angeles train. and every now and then, it turns out to be a good friend! #bikecommunity

this past week, i've been biking on charleville bet beverly and the middle school in BH. i've seen kids hop into driverless Waymo cars to get to friends' homes after school. Qs: 1. can underaged kids ride without an adult? 2. are the cars able to obey crossing guard signals?

motorists used to routinely block the expo bike lane crossing at bundy. so they painted KEEP CLEAR markings: "It is against the law to stop or block an intersection where there is not enough space to completely cross before the traffic signal light turns red". so where's LAPD HQ?

took Metro Los Angeles from #samo to #dtla bec i didn't want to ride in the heat. bec i'm so entitled 🤣🤣 at jefferson/USC station, operator says were holding until stuck train cleared ahead. so i exit w bike and ride. must be the universe telling me to get off my butt! 🚲🚲

i was going to board the westbound Metro Los Angeles E line at vermont until i saw the crowds waiting on the platform... and at the USC station, too! 😱😱 so i had to bike back to USC jefferson to guarantee myself a seat. fun times! #USCwisconsinfootball
