Our operations team have been out along the #Walsall Canal replacing an old and rotten paddle stand at Aldridge Wharf. The team worked quickly to minimise disruption to boaters and swiftly replaced the gate with a brand new one. Great work from Aaron Atwal and team. Canal & River Trust Boating
We've been working with a group from Community Payback to look after the canal in #Wolverhampton. The group have been working with Aaron Atwal and team on the #Wolverhampton Flight and cut back over grown trees and bushes, removed fly-tipped rubbish and litter. Ministry of Justice

Our new cohort of Government funded Kickstarters are in #Wolverhampton and are busy helping to get out community orchard ready for planting fruit trees. Once established the orchard will provide free fruit to the local community and boaters. Aaron Atwal
Our Kickstarters are doing a great job along the canal in #Wolverhampton. They've working with Aaron Atwal and team and have been painting lock gates and railings, removing vegetation, working with power tools and learning first aid and water safety. They're a great bunch 😃

Factory Lock No 3 on the New Main Line Canal in #Tipton is closed as a car is in the lock. We're working on a plan to get this removed as quickly as possible. There are no signs of pollution yet but we will continue to monitor. Express & Star
