An inspiring visit to the Wolverhampton MS Therapy Centre for the cheque presentation following an incredible 40-day litter picking challenge. A huge well done to Sam Williamson, who raised an amazing £2,400, far exceeding the original target.

A fantastic example of community spirit, dedication and determination. The Wolverhampton MS Therapy Centre provides vital support to so many people, and it was great to see the impact this fundraising will have. Thank you to Sam and everyone who supported this effort.

Thank you for the time, energy, and enthusiasm you’ve given so generously. Special thanks to Mr Koo for the kind invitation to a wonderful thank-you meal at Cosmo Restaurants to celebrate the cadets. You should all be very proud of what you’ve achieved.

A return visit to Wightwick Manor and Gardens, and once again a warm welcome from the team – thank you for your continued hospitality. With the weather improving, I had the opportunity to enjoy a walk around the beautiful gardens, which are looking fantastic at this time of year.

I was also fortunate to spot the now well-known Verreaux’s eagle owl, a rare sight in the UK and certainly an unexpected but memorable addition to the visit. A wonderful place to spend time and a real gem in Wolverhampton.

A celebration of equality, justice and community spirit at this year’s Ambedkar Jayanti. Held at Sitara Hall, the event brought people together to honour the life and legacy of Dr B. R. Ambedkar, a visionary who championed human rights and challenged inequality.

It was wonderful to welcome Captain Bart Goedhart from the Prinses Irene Brigade in the Netherlands and take the time to meet and hear more about the impressive plans for his regiment and the important work they are currently undertaking.

Our connection with the Prinses Irene Brigade is one that Wolverhampton has valued for many years, and it is a relationship we are proud to continue carrying forward.

Following my visit to the Netherlands last year, it was especially meaningful to build on those ties and reflect on the enduring bond between our communities. Thank you also to Captain Goedhart for the very kind gift of a bottle of Prinses Irene Brigade Fuselie Calvados.
