He’s rushing to Wall Market as fast as he can, briefcase in hand. If Genesis told him to haul ass down there to back @MarketQueenBee up then that’s what he’s going to do. Making it inside, he’s got his pistol out. “Alright, back the fuck down, the lotta ya! An’ back off quick!”

His gaze narrows at her. “Who’re ya talkin’ about? What’s yer name?” The pistol is pointed to one of the thugs, not at her. Yet.

He recognises the name, though he doesn’t yet fully relax. “Diana Cascade, eh? Are ya the bestie that Genesis Rhapsodos mentioned?”

“Yer gonna have ta wait on that.” Holstering his pistol for the moment, he reaches into his pocket and holds out a flash drive. “That’s got everythin’ on it. That oughta be enough fer ya.”

“Bastards, the lotta ya!” Already he’s pulled out his pistol again, aiming several well-placed shots at the thugs’ heads. “An’ stay dead, ya fucks!” Holstering the weapon, he then scoops Diana up and heads out of the place.

He’s quickly carrying her back to a little safehouse he has in the Sector 5 slums, getting a little agitated. “Shit. This ain’t how it was supposed ta go. Diana, can ya hear me?”
