Rose is unsure of how to react to this, or if she even should admit that she saw her name in his phone, but regardless, it’s left her feeling… light?

Rose grinned against his lips, not letting him pull away just yet. After a much longer, deeper kiss, she broke their contact and nodded toward his phone. “Call out, then,” she said with a sly smile. “We’ll spend the day in bed.”

Before he made a mess, Rose grabbed his plate and moved it with a grin. “Best you let them know early, right? That way they don’t call and interrupt us.” She waited patiently, watching him carefully. She knew what she was doing — of course she did.
