We've been berated by Nursing and Midwifery Council and CP ++ times for needing to coordinate timings with hearings. Told we should be more organised. Yesterday the CP informed the panel he needed a "hard stop" by 3.30pm. Proceedings should not be 1 Rule for 1 but treat everyone fairly...!!!

When Nursing and Midwifery Council refers to DBS swiftly after High court notification of your appeal accepted, you can't help but get paranoid... Thankfully DBS are swift and compassionate - acknowledged registrant's distress closing the case and getting back to her by phone within 48hrs

Recent data from the NMC highlights the concerning trend of professionals leaving the nursing profession. However, the impact of inappropriate referrals on workload and retention is not being addressed, over 40's high eferral risk =irreplaceable loss of experience and skill
