This is completely out of order for GMC bbc.co.uk/news/articles/… if it fits the ‘rules’ the rules are wrong and must change. Government has hugely restricted the right to protest & there is no chance of this reducing public confidence, it’s a matter of conscience.

Mike Hakata London Labour Sadiq Khan We need passive house standards.
Air pollution levels = still above WHO ‘safe’ levels.
Too many cars, exhaust fumes + toxic flight emissions from Ldn airports cause heat events that shorten the lives of older women.
This is discrimination.

melraunch It's not Brexit. It's climate change. Scientists are screaming at us that various crops are already in trouble;e - olive oil, cocoa, potatoes in the UK because of the record rain - but the media isnt interested so the public have little clue that we are in major trouble. David

A&E rising demand isn't driving long waits in A&E. Attendance rates are not dramatically up from pre-pandemic levels. The real issue is collapse of social/community care provision & some increased acuity. This is driving longer stays & means fewer open beds for ppl to go into

It is not the job of the workforce to subsidise the service by working for cheap, especially when it comes to filling staffing gaps due to poor pay, terms, conditions; charge your worth or say no, do not be guilt tripped, *this is a matter of purely political choice* please RT

How we vote is mostly about our feelings, and then we hunt around for ways to rationalise those feelings.

But look at the data, and if you voted Tory or Brexit... just think about this stuff.

I'm not taking the piss. Just ... consider this thread.

The NHS will be very hard to improve without a relentless focus on public health and prevention. People lucky enough to have purposeful lives with supportive relationships, decent education, incomes, diets & housing, and living without fear, are far more likely to escape illness.

Primary care is being destroyed at the behest of government. And given that toddler-level health economics lessons tell us strong primary care is cost effective, it has to be deliberate. Presumably to be replaced by private services where there’s a cut for investors.

I don’t want to pay less national insurance. I want the surgery my dad’s been waiting years to get to happen. I want a train to from London to Edinburgh to cost less than the flight. I want all children fed a hot meal in school. I want benefits at levels people can live on.

By ending fossil fuel subsidies & taxing enormous energy company profits we can ensure every household in the UK has clean, green energy at a fair price.

Email your MP now to urge them to sign the Energy For All manifesto. nwmd.io/s/twitter/ZxA4…

Yesterday Belarus (a repressive brutal dictatorship) went to the polls.

Now seemed like a good time to remind everyone that the complete list of every single European country that uses First Past the Post for their national parliament is:

🇬🇧The United Kingdom
