Dear friends who aren’t doctors, PAs are not doctors. They are not trained as doctors. Some of them (as below) have a delusion that they are doctors. Their training is inadequate for being a doctor. If you need to use the NHS, refuse to be seen by a PA. You deserve a doctor.

Christ alive. What absolute shithousery. Having worked with PAs, to paraphrase the House of God: “Give me a PA who only triples my work and I will kiss their feet”.

But, why do they never take their toes off? Is it like a PR thing?

Anaesthetists, stand up and be counted. Fix the bottleneck. Free up doctors trapped behind specialty training. No associates until every eligible aspiring anaesthetist gets a training number.
