Thames Water has been flooding sewage into peoples’ homes. I’ve pushed them to do emergency work to fix the Horley sewage plant and I’m very pleased that they now are - they showed me yesterday and it should be completed by the end of July.

The UK should stand with allies like Canada, not bow to bullies like Trump. It's time to strengthen partnerships, not reward threats.

Seeing an MP in Parliament calling for repentance and a Christian revival is not new. Cromwell’s authoritarian and "godly" Parliament of Saints tried exactly that. It ended in 5 months in fundamentalist fiasco. Cromwell's religious dictatorship lasted a lot longer.

I recently asked the Minister the Armed Forces about the consequences for UK military intelligence sharing with Ukraine if President Trump cuts US sharing - he agreed to meet to discuss it.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is one of the gravest public health threats confronting the world. AMR is projected to cause 39 million deaths by 2050. It is a direct threat to the UK that demands urgent action, not shortsighted funding cuts. thetimes.com/article/e1448c…

Time and time again, the Prime Minister says the situation in Gaza is intolerable… but he keeps on tolerating it. Palestinian statehood was literally in his own manifesto, so why won’t he recognise it now? I wonder if Donald Trump is stopping him.

Hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza are being deliberately starved to death. Aid convoys are coming under fire. Children are being shot by soldiers. Schools and hospitals are being bombed. What further war crimes need to take place before PM Netanyahu is sanctioned?

Mass starvation in Gaza and over 1,000 Palestinians killed while seeking aid since May. The government says the situation is intolerable yet they continue to tolerate it. The UK needs to stop all arms exports to the Israeli Government - today.

Daisy is 16 and thriving in a specialist school - but it's 25 miles from home. Her parents have to drive 100 miles every day because Surrey County Council will not provide her with transport. We desperately need more specialist schools in the area to accommodate our SEN children.

The Prime Minister must act with immediate airdrops of much-needed aid into Gaza and get other countries to do the same. It is simply inhumane that Gaza faces starvation due to Israel’s aid blockade. Words alone won’t save lives.

The UK should be leading on this, not falling behind. Recognise the independent state of Palestine now and take the lead on securing a two-state solution and a lasting peace.

I have signed a letter to the Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary, alongside 221 MPs from nine political parties calling for UK recognition of the state of Palestine, in support of a two state solution. While the UK alone does not have the power to bring about a free and
