After the killing of the 7 aid workers from World Central Kitchen, its work in Gaza stopped. Tens of thousands of displaced families will not receive their only meal. WCK work in Gaza is very much needed, it shouldn’t stop for the memory of those who lost their lives supporting the others.

As the U.S. airdrops some food into Gaza and plans to build an off-shore port, aid worker Yousef D. Hammash with @nrc_norway says the 'more simple, more realistic and more efficient' route would be for the U.S. to pressure its ally Israel to lift restrictions on humanitarian relief.
My interview with NRC's Yousef D. Hammash in Rafah. He says any small aid helps but air drops and a pier are 'unrealistic options.' On a ceasefire he tells me that 'we are looking for a second to breathe' but 'we don’t need a break, we want to ensure our lives back.'
