Petrol & diesel cars are being rationed because of mistaken Govt policy. Small internal combustion vehicles, meantime, are far more efficient from both a manufacturing & consumer point of view. EV production is a blind alley. The cars are almost valueless on secondhand market.

Whether or not Labour inherited a dire economic situation from the Tories, the removal of the winter fuel allowance from pensioners is a disgrace. Starmer & Co also gave above inflation pay rises to some unionised workers including train dirvers already making over £60K a year.
