WelshRugbyClubsThatPayPlayers ‘Name&Shame Clwb Rygbi Bynea WRU don’t care. When 1 club explained why they wanted to stop a transfer going ahead because the player was going to get paid they responded by saying inform HMRC.

2/2 it starting to threaten the way the club is going foward. Old-new-first time. A few retweets and get the word out we could be ok. as things stand numbers are low, no money involved, just a few beers every week, well a bloody skin full with a good bunch of local boys. Thanks

Took a journey over to the other valley tonight to watch what was touted as a "proper" derby between CrumlinRugby and HafodyrynysRFC . It turned out to be a combined Oakdale RFC /Crumlin team. Apparently theres cash kicking around at crumlin. A convincing win for crumlin.

We are thinking of releasing a documentary inspired by Pontypool RFC Called “Loads of Big Games” Tells the story of us getting from division 4 to the championship within 8 years without paying a penny.

If the 3rds were playing this weekend, more than 84 senior and youth players would be representing our club on Saturday. The reward they get is not financial. It’s the joy of playing with their mates and enjoying a few beers or soft drinks afterwards. #Squirrels #7to77

my local club is fulfilling 1sts, 2nds, 3rds and Youth fixtures tomorrow when a lot of clubs can’t play a WRU Plate or Bowl game. What’s going on in our community game? We are celebrating a Rugby World Cup when it seems the game itself is disintegrating.

This weeks ‘Beast in the East’ game sees Brynmawr RFC visit Bedlinog RFC 🦊🦊 with bad weather predicted The Mawr will need to be at their best to keep their unbeaten record against the Foxes on their own patch. Sure to be a gruelling contest. #clubrugby #grassroots
