With record numbers of police on the streets in W Mercia and a strong record of action I would urge all voters to re-elect John-Paul Campion today & support local Worcester Conservatives 🇬🇧 candidates in vital local elections across the city

Great to see this important bill by Vicky Ford MP unanimously passing the committee stage.

Throughout The Centre for Social Justice research on school absence we've heard about the need to make attendance guidance statutory. This Bill will help do that. Thank you to all involved.

Sometimes MPs do all agree with each other!

Cross party unity for my private members Bill on School Attendance at Committee Stage in UK House of Commons today

Even missing small amounts of school can have a big impact on a child’s future. The bill will make a big difference.

Last week, the Government responded to our report on Ofsted's work with schools.

Since then, Cmte Chair Robin Walker has raised this in the House of Commons and we've received cross-party support for recommendations made in the report 👇

🔎Great to see 5 MPs from 4 different parties presenting petitions on the infected blood scandal today.

🤝MPs are united: justice delayed is justice denied.

⏰391 days since Sir Brian Langstaff’s final recommendations on compensation, there is no excuse for further delays.

Frank Field was a decent, moral, and thoughtful man. He was a great parliamentarian - he made our politics better and raised the level of national debate in this country.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family today.

Frank Field’s death is a huge loss to Parliament and public life.

He was fiercely independent-minded and happy to work across party lines on the issues he was so knowledgable about; to “think the unthinkable”.

I remain grateful for his review on poverty and life chances,

Will never forget first meeting Frank Field when, as a student, having invited him to speak at University of Exeter

An amazing, compassionate man and truly dedicated to public service. Thinking of his family and loved ones today.

May he rest in peace.

Pleased to pay tribute to the late great Frank Field today at PMQs, a kind and thoughtful man who always had time for colleagues on all sides of the house, a great champion of early intervention & a successful SC chair - HAFF is a lasting legacy for education that must continue

Pleased to be in the chamber to support this important ⚽️ legislation today & hope it will benefit the whole pyramid including clubs such as Worcester City will raise question of whether we need a similar approach to rugby 🏉 to bring back & sustain clubs like Worcester Warriors
