Watershed Investigations & The Guardian trawled the data of the National Atmospheric Emissions Inventory to draw up a list of the top 100 highest methane emitters in the UK. We've loaded these onto our Watershed Pollution Map. The bigger the dot, the higher the methane levels...3/11

Alarming though these methane emissions are, the true figure may be even higher: a report by Royal Society of Chemistry concludes NAEI models underestimate methane release. Green Alliance says methane from oil & gas works can be 11-70 times higher than reported. theguardian.com/environment/ar…
