Dear Simon Jupp MP,
How is it that the URLs for Lib Dem candidate richardfoord.uk, richardfoord.co.uk and richardfoord.com all link directly to your website?

NLC - LEASEHOLD CAMPAIGNER - #reLEASE us Michael Gove Leasehold Knowledge The Times and The Sunday Times What absolute b*llocks. We have evidence that shows new build prices on the same estates were not lower for leasehold properties than freehold properties. CMA proved this too.

Nearly Legal End Our Cladding Scandal Also said that of course they cannot say to them by how much the SCs will increase.
Really? Couldn’t they inform at least of average? But I guess saying ‘our service charges in new builds tend to increase by average 200% in 5 years’ would not produce sales!
The bit I’ve been banging on about for about a decade hits hard. Shared owners might only have 25% of the equity in the property, but they pay 100% of the service charges, as well as rent on the other 75%. They are paying to maintain the HA’s equity value. theguardian.com/society/2024/m…

Service charge strikes are a symptom of a broken market. If freeholders and building-landlords weren’t rent-seekers, people wouldn’t do it.
Let leaseholders take control of their service providers and service charges!
