On 8 September, 20 UN-NYG members visited the IAEA - International Atomic Energy Agency ⚛️’s Safeguards laboratory facilities at Seibersdorf in Lower Austria. Most participants had never visited Seibersdorf before, and this trip was a unique way to learn more about the IAEA’s key role in the nuclear field.

Yesterday, Kimberly Gonzalez talked to UN-NYG members about optical and compressible flow analysis for a supersonic gas puff inside a dense plasma focus accelerator. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and network. Stay tuned for more Bite Sized Nuclear events soon!
