Katie Walz, RN, in the cardiovascular ICU at UC Medical Center, was our first recipient of the COVID-19 vaccine. We are administering our first vaccines to staff on the frontlines of COVID-19 to help keep them safe so they can continue to provide world-class care.

Look for UC Health to receive > 3,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine next week. That will likely provide enough for all of the system's highest risk workers, following this week's 975 doses of the Pfizer vaccine.
